Water rides
Sixteen of the 53 water and land rides at Wonderla are sourced from outside this country. The rest are made by Thane-based Arihant Industrial Corporation. Founded in 1985, the firm's headed by Viren, Atul and Rajen Shah. The Rs 65 crore-company also exports rides (such as, Mat slides and Wave pools) to countries like UK, UAE, and France. With more than 300 employees, this 25-year-old firm counts developers and water parks among its clients.

Hundreds of people visit the amusement park every day. Keeping it clean is no (ahem!) no joke. The task is made tougher by the presence of restaurants, discotheques and even conference rooms that are rented out. That's where Uma Enterprises lends a hand. Not only does the firm provide housekeeping services, it also deploys personnel trained in technology, inventory management, accounting and more. Set up in 1971 by M.L. Deshpande, the Rs 18 crore-firm employs 3,000 employees, and boasts of TVS and HDFC as clients.

Food court
The adrenalin rush of rides leaves visitors hungry. And, Wonderla has just the answer for the hungry mob. Spread out over 82 acres, its five eating joints serve piping hot and fresh food. Visitors can enjoy hearty meals, from assorted biryanis to French fries and pizzas dished out by Raju Caterers. Founded in the 1980s, the firm runs the Wave and Fountain restaurants at Wonderla. Founded by Raju Yadav, the firm employs 58 people and provides services to Indiranagar Club and Karnataka State Cricket Association.

Water treatment chemicals
Wonderla is the only amusement park in India where the water used in all its wave pools and rides is purified through reverse osmosis treatment technology. About 30-crore litres of water gets recycled every year. The chemicals for treating the water are provided by local firm, Sri Devi Chemicals. Founded by Prem Singh in 1978, the Rs 1-crore company employs 20 people and provides services to all major hotels and clubs in Karnataka.
